AutoCAD is the usual culprit. I have AutoCAD LT 2000i

My key...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{5783
F2D7-0065-0409-0000-0060B0CE6BBA}
Value Name: DisplayIcon
Value Type: REG_SZ
Value Data: C:\Program Files\AutoCAD LT 2000i\aclt.exe,-1

Notice the -1 at the end of the Vaue Data above? That is what apparently
causes the problem with the big white space in Add or Remove Programs.

Click on either or both of these to download and run an automated edit to
fix the problem. They both install new icons and add apropriate entries in
the registry to fix the problem.

Although it has been my experience that I have to run the edits (one or the
other, I never remember which) again after I either add or remove programs.
The white space just shows up again.
