Do NOT get rid of administrator nor it's settings. you
will have no limit to the problems you will cause.
Have you checked in the control panel under
users/passwords? for a list of users?
The options you want should be listed there.
if admin is the only account, it should be a simple matter
to add in your account, and check the option that assumes
your the only user.
