Hi, I'm new to XP (Home ed) and trying to install old
programs (mainly games), I encounter the message:

16 bit Windows Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not
suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
applications. Choose close to terminate the application.

This is the same whether installing from autorun or
manually via setup file. I'd appreciate help, cheers.
Peter
