Could some kind person please tell me how to uninstal Windows Media Player
10, as I want to run Windows Media Player 9. Im having trouble opening up
.vem files which were ok before I installed Windows Media 10 (or at least Im
assuming that to be the case)

I cant find any way of uninstalling WM10 - its not in the Add/Remove
programs.
