I have a P4 2.0 GHz, 256 MB DDR, 2 40 GB HD system with Win 98 & XP on
different prtitions installed, the XP partition is NTFS. One day I came home
found my kid instlling a new copy of XP on the XP partition on another
folder (cause he forgot the password & couldn't access his account)but on
another folder not the old one, I removed the new copy, but since then my old
XP keeps going bizzare, it shows me everytime I log in the "new programs
installed" each time on old installed programms, not same ones necessarily, &
many times when it starts loading XP it gives me that I didn't shut down
properly (though I didn't) & scans randomly any partition on my 2nd HD
(rarely this doesn't happen).
Any clues ??? Wht should I do ??
Thanks
