Here's what I finally did...
Old configuration:
C: 120G SATA drive
D: 160G IDE
I tried to dump as much information from the 160 onto the 120. Didn't get
all of it, because every two minutes - litteraly - the blue screen popped up.
I unplugged my 120. Then I reformatted the 160 and made it my new C: drive. I
installed XP there and am in the process of re-installing everything. I
plugged the 120 back in and it is now my D: drive. I think it was a
configuration problem before that had corrupted windows. The hard drive
wanted to use the 160 as the C: drive because it was set up on the IDE cable.
Windows wanted to use the 120 SATA because that's what it was told to do.
I'm pretty happy with the setup because I'm not getting the blue screens
right now. But the computer has shut down on me for no reason a few times.
That's what's happening, since you asked. Thanks for all your help.
