I have this phenomenon on my laptop which occurs lately. How it manifests
itself is that I cannot doubleclick anything to open it. So if I go to, say,
"My computer' and doubleclick, it will act as if I had right-clicked and
give me that list. (Then I can choose 'Open'. ) This MAY be related to the
fact that sometimes - when I have multiple windows open - any individual one
will seem frozen. The only way I can go among them is to do an Alt-Tab. Funny
stuff wiht my machine or Windows-related? I have a couple year old Toshiba
laptop with 512MB memory
