If you do not keep up-dating your computer will be subjected to attack. The
viruses a year ago were a result in a security hole in Windows. Since you
are on the internet you are potentially subject to these security holes. So
I guess I need to modify my previous statement. At the very least, I hope
you are running a firewall and antivirus program. If you note, we get a
warning before posting that our IP address posting which is ok if your IP is
dynamic rather than static.
One of the earlier posts said that if your system originally installed USB
1.x then the SP2 did not modify it. Another posts said to use Plug and Play
by deleting the USB controller. For anyone out there, will this work? Is
this a potentially radiacal solution that may cause some problems.
