OK perhaps this is a Citrix issue and I have also posted
this on their website and have gotten a few suggestions
but to no avail. And seeing how this is concerning XP
workstations I thought I would try here and see if any of
you all can offer some helpful suggestions. So here is
the scenario.
I have 2 XP SP2 workstations. Both are on the same
subnet, network, using a static private IP, same gateway,
pointing to the same DNS server, same IE settings and
same network settings. I am using a proxy server and ISA
server built into SBS 2003. Both machines use the MS
Firewall Client.
I have loaded the Citrix Program Neighborhood v8.0 on
both machines. On one I can get to an external client's
Citrix server and on the other I cannot. I get this error
message.
"Cannot connect to the Citrix Metaframe server. There is
no route to the specified subnet address."
Given these facts I'm almost sure it is a local machine
settings problem however I have search and compared high
and low and just cannot see the difference. Any
suggestions or recommendations would be greatly
appreciated as I have reached my end of the rope. Thanks
in advance.
