Hi,
Have you tested that floppy drive on other computers? If it work on the
other computers, you might have a bad Floppy drive port on the motherboard.
Sometimes they go bad, so you might want to test it in other machines.
Usually, the way to test hardware is trying it in another computer that you
know has no problems, if it works in the other computer, then its is
something else causing the problem. I had motherboards with bad IDE ports,
so for you it could be the Floppy port.
