You have to set the BIOS to boot from the CD. Just sticking the CD in the
drive and rebooting won't work. Try getting into Safe Mode if you can. If
you can get the thing to start up in Safe Mode you can run a virus scan and
do some other cleanup work. It is not out of the realm of possibility that
you have some sort of worm or virus.
