Many thanks for your earlier solution using date /t and time /t. It works
perfectly well in XP Pro, as you knew it would! I would have added this to
the thread but, for some reason, the messages won't download into Outlook
Express but I was able to see your response via Google Groups.
The final problem is that I would like to concatenate the date and time but,
having used Google and also searched the NGs, I don't think that this is so
simple. I've seen procedures using tokens (?????) and other routines,
simply to do what I instinctively want to do:
date /t & " at " & time /t >> filename
Is this possible easily and, if so, how?
