Goodness knows what happened to my post:-

I went along to Wsindows Update just to see if I was up to date, and before
I knew it, I had installed Service Pack 1 etc. for Microsoft .NET Framework
1.1 Service Pack 1, and a "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer
for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (KB834707)," and Zonealarm popped up with a
message :-
".COM Surrogate" is attempting to access the internet - should I have
allowed or denied this EXTRA internet access ? I was tempted to deny it -
then I thought perhaps that may cause an installation failure, so I allowed
it - now I'm wondering if there is yet ANOTHER backdoor access to my
machine. ...something went along to destination IP 195.92.195.94.DNS !! at
the tail end of installing .net frameworks 1.1's SP1 update ???
