Hello Don
Thanx for your input, I am tempted to make a restore point, (if one of those
would "cover" the situation - seeing as they don't even back up the suytem
registry), and delete the account. I wouldn't have objected to having the
.net framework installed on my machine, if it hadn't been for something
creating this extra user account, (which seems to be unnecessary?). Was it
the .net framework that created the account or the Norton Ghost 9.0
installation that created it ? :-) My objection arose when my XP Home
edition boot-up / logon changed and there seems to be no way of changing it
back to how it was without deleting this new user aco***, (single user / no
lgon screen), without perhaps deleting the .ASP-whatever a/c.
regards, Richard
