Are you confusing 3 different ways to acces a remote computer?
Remote Assitant may not give you any special access to the file system?
A local network you would use the management tools and logon (that what the
C$ shares are for, only admain work.)
You need to use remote desktop and log in as the user then you can see
exactul what they see with the same access.
