Notwithstanding the previous post, I would advise backing up your data,
taking note of ISP/mail settings and wiping the drive prior to install of
XP. In most cases you will spend considerable time trying to work out bugs
caused by the overwrite that you'll end up doing it anyway, save the grief
and start clean
