Hi:

To my knowledge, it is a hardware thing and depending on your motherboard
and BIOS support, which Windows can do little about it (or it will get into
even more complicated issues and troubles as it already has).

Even for 3rd party utilities, it would depend on the design of your
motherboard (or Hard Drive) to see if it can support.

PS: You may want go look at the menu of the motherboard to see if it
supports. And during your next purchase, make that one of your criterions.
