I have an Apache Web Server running on my XP (Home Edition) computer on my
home network. the Internet Facing connection is (protected?) with the XP
Firewall and I have upgraded this to SP2.
Everything appears to work fine except anyone else on the internal LAN can
no longer connect to the Web site that is hosted on the external facing IP
address. DNS is resolving the IP address correctly for those machines (I
have about 4 other PCs on my home network), but they cannot connect to the
web site itself. I've looked at the firewall log and whilst there are some
connections being dropped, none of these are for port 80.
I have no problem accessing the web site from an external computer or via a
VPN from within my LAN (which connects to my employers network before
connecting to the web site).
tracert using the DNS name works fine as well showing me a single hop to
the external facing IP address.
Any ideas - looked up google Web and Group but can't find anything specific
to this.
Neil
