So you're saying that you had the right click freeze problem before SP2
and upgraded hoping SP2 would fix it? It's not a good idea to upgrade a
  system that is having problems unless you know for sure the upgrade is
designed to fix the problem. In this case I would suggest you remove
SP2, fix the system then upgrade.

Right click problems are generally due to a misbehaving right click
context menu handler. Spysweeper in SP1 and SP@, and some flavors DivX
in SP2 can cause this, but any corrupt or misbehaving context menu
handler can cause problems.
