Regedit in DOS

Is there anyway to get the registry files exported into a
text file so I can edit them. I can only get a DOS
prompt. It seems my registry is corrupt (and it's not
wsaupdater.exe as Adaware suggests) and users are logged
off immediately in Windows. Thanks.
