Hi, I can't run search at all every time i hit that button, my comp either
hangs or says the same thing as tslaby..."Missing files or folders necessary
to start search companion. May need to run setup." ive done just about
everything, and since im running service pack 2 i cant install the fix patch
avalible online... following the instructions on step 3 didnt help either the
srchasst file doesnt install at all... is there any other way to fix the
problem?...
Cuz from the looks of the threads on the boards, nothing seems to have been
done about it. Also i strongly doubt its a web issue... the support page says
its because we were online when we ran search thats why the problem occured
in the first place...
Would really appreciate it if you guys came up with a real solution to this
problem before you start offering the next windows os or service pack or
whatever... thank you
