If that happened to you, you either had your AV and/or OE running during the
install. Don't do that.

MS has always included default entries in Links folder. You may delete
them, as before, or make Links a hidden file —> end of problem

Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger are two different applications. Windows
Messenger and all of its inherent "hooks" will be reinstalled in SP2. I
didn't partricularly like this either but I lived. <eg>

Then you may opt out and make another security suite the default. All too
many problems, worldwide, have been caused by other users who do not have
*any* security center.
