Is your keyboard usb? If so, connect a regular ps/2 keyboard to the
computer and try that way. If you already have a ps/2 keyboard, the
connector may have been damaged by the power surge. Try a usb keyboard
in that case, making sure that Legacy USB is enabled in the BIOS.
