I have no idea. I only used their support site once. They took about
one week and emailed me. The sayed my problem was caused by system
commander vcom being installed. He/she told me not to use it.
However, I don’t listen to bad advice. I figured out a way to use
both ghost & system commander together without no problems.
I disabled system commander. Then made a system commander partition
disk and a ghost boot disk
Then I started from scratch. Made four partition (They way I wanted
it)
Installed win98se on partition 1 (Fat32) with system commander and
Ghost 2003*
Installed winxp on partition 2 (Fat32) System commander and Ghost
is not installed.
Partition 3 (Fat32) No Os
Partition 4 (Fat32) No Os
*Since my last clean install. I only use ghost from a boot disk.
Getting back to my fix.
Start up windows98. Disabled system commander. Reboot with a ghost
boot disk. Then back up. (Same way to restore it.)
If your system is corrupted and you can’t disable system commander
here is a controversial fix if you have a boot error-after you
restore.
use a windows 98 boot disk.
Using Fdisk
Set the windows 98 partition active
Reboot with floppy still in drive
Make sure drive C is the win98 partition
Then type
Fdisk /MBR
Remove floppy and reboot.
Enable System commander
