audio drivers blow out

I just did a clean install of Windows XP and when I use
any program that has audio, it cuts out in the middle and
stops playing any audio. When I restart my computer, the
audio works fine again for a little bit. I tried
reinstalling the drivers and uninstalled a couple
programs that I thought were the problem, but it keeps
happening. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
