I've just installed SP2 after downloading all Windows updates first. I
installed from CD after checking with Microsoft that I didn't have any
conflicting programs.
As soon as it finished installing, I disabled their firewall, as I prefer
AVG.
Now when I connect to the Internet, it appears to connect OK (two little
monitors down in the bottom right hand corner), but I cant open any web
page, post to newsgroups or get mail.
I've checked my Internet settings which seem OK.
So what's the problem.
Any help appreciated.

(I knew SP2 was going to be trouble!)

PS this was posted on my 2nd pooter.
