Unable to restore backup files

This is follow up with my previous postings!!!!

I turned "encrypt to secure data" on on couple of
personal folders on my laptop. Great, I backup my folders
to another PC with win/XP's systems tools to second PC on
LAN.

After rebuilding my PC with same OS, same signon userid
and pwd. I restored all folders back to my laptop

Problem: I could not open those files anymore. Jpeg pic -
got black screen.. Word doc - "user does not has access
previlege..."

I played with changing ownership.. At folder level, they
will let you unchecked the encrypt box, but NOT at the
file level.

I created a new file after rebuilt, turned on Encrypt to
comapred with the before rebuild file.

Steps to do that are:
1. Left click a file and click Properties
2. Click Advance
3. Click detail(make sure it is an encrypted file, if
not, turn one on and Apply to try it out)

I compared the username of the file created before
rebuilt and after rebuilt:
BEFORE:

John Doe(John Doe@415Laptop)

After:
John Doe(John Doe@GatewayF1FBC28..)

My question is: where can I change GatewayF1FBC... to
match 415Laptop???

When I setup my home network, I used 415Laptop during
rebuilt.

Also I checked Computername, it is also 415Laptop. I do
not know where GatewayF1Fbc,,, come from??

Expert, help!!!
