Well, let's see:
(a) it's a major update to your operating system. You didn't have a backup?
(b) Did you scan for spyware, viruses, and do other system maintenance
beforehand, or just install?
(c) Strangely, all my products (Microsoft and non-Microsoft) worked fine
after the install. What apps did you have suddenly stop working, and what
did they do?
