Actually, that is very basic stuuf for today's specs.
Pent 4 2.8 is where the price / performace break is at.
60 GB disk?
Who makes those?
80 or 160, actually there is very little price differnce in sizes but ATA100
vs. SATA there is more.
Get two a 40 or 80 for the Sytem /boot and a big honker for the data slave.
1 GB memorey - Today's mobo have dual channel at 400 MB/s so two chips are
needed, 1 in slot 1, 1 in slot 3.
DDR400 is needed to get 800 bus and 400 mem speeds.
Why not speed $100 up front to make your P/C 30% faster.
Almost all new mobo have an 8X AGP slot for graphics.
But a really good ones are under $80.
Many have built in 4X AGP.
Sound is optional but a 5.1 speaker system for $99 on a p/c with built in
sound chip is pretty awsume.
Many mobo's have built in NIC. Some have 2.
Keyboard and mouse. Cheap stuff. A wireless b & M pack for $49 to $79. Live
a little.
DVD burner is spendy compared to a CD, CD-r, DVD- readonly stuff but only a
$100 more.
BUT... and of course,..
Monitor sold seperately. ;)
