Since you would normally be turning the computers off after
a power failure and this should not take more than 10
minutes, you need enough power to run the computer and
monitor for that period. Two computers on one UPS raises
the issue of the number of battery supported connections,
most UPS have 3 battery and 3 surge only, you might be able
to use a power strip in a battery backed plug to gain extra
connections but that might be risky. Two 350 rated UPS or
one 500 or 750 should cover your needs.
I don't know of any UPS that can control two computers for
auto-shutdown, my advice would be to get two APC 350 with
USB control and surge for you modem and cable/DSL.
