It would be nice if all the old worked with the new, but that is not
always the case.
It is rarely the case with anything, not just software.
Whether you accept it or not is not really relevant.
It is YOUR CHOICE.
You can CHOOSE SP-2 or not.
But if you CHOOSE SP-2, it is YOUR responsibility to have your
computer compatible with SP-2.
You can also CHOOSE no SP-2 and then you will not have these problems
you refer.
