I'm having the same problem, only thing is that my computer crashed so i had
to reinstall Windows along with everything else, so I have no previous system
restore points available. I am familiar with the setting in Windows which
assigns each user account a unique identifier that cannot be duplicated even
if you create a new account of the same name. The problem is that I have
about 8 gigs of music and movies on my hard drive which i cannot access or
delete. When I go to the "Documents and Settings" folder, Windows tells me
that the old account is inaccessible, so I have no way of getting to any of
those files.
My question is, is there any way to bypass this and at least delete these
files?
