Fix for what?
Since you did not state your specific problem, it is impossible to
give specific help.
Microsoft and others have had lists of possible issues for quite some
time:

If you are waiting for an updated SP-2, it will most likely never
happen.
Unless you mean SP-3 which may be out in one or two years.

FALSE, SP-2 has gone fine on all computers I installed SP-2.

Of course a clean computer helped ensure trouble-free installations of
SP-2:
