My Document windows open whenever Windows starts

hi, every time i start windows, the "My Document" folder opens automatically.
i really don't want to use msconfig because truthfly i'm a bit afraid to
touch it. so does anybody know why this happens?. i've already installed SP2
and this problem only occurs after the installation. thank you
