I forced the program to export to an SCR file named
HUGH.SCR. I could then select this from the drop-down on
the screen saver page.
The setting was still lost after the reboot however...
So, I edited the registry and found that it was pointing
to SETIHOME.SCR (I'm running Seti@Home)... perhaps this
is wiping the setting during startup - the software runs
in the background, and is set to run at startup... an
undocumented gotcha by the looks of things!
After editing the registry, the setting to HUGH.SCR was
saved, so I'm all happy now :-)
