Problem With Nero Under XP

Since updating to XP from ME, Nero 5.5 writes both
CD-R and CD-RW disks at a much slower speed.
The speed has been reduced about 80%.

I also use a the freeware version of DeepBurner and
it still creates CD at the same speed or maybe a bit
faster.

Does anyone know why this is occurring? I am using
the latest version of both programs.
