Get the Sun version of the Java Virtual Machine at

http://java.sun.com

If you really need a Microsoft version you can get one at:

http://home.ix.netcom.com/~jmrubin/msjvm.htm (redirects to a Microsoft
download)

The basic trouble is Sun (which invented Java) sued Microsoft and
while Microsoft can update your MSJVM at Windows Update, it isn't
supposed to give you a new one.

At one time, there was a situation where some websites designed with
Microsoft tools wouldn't work properly with Sun Java but I can't
imagine that there are a whole lot of websites like that still around.
