Thanks, but I tried all that. Tried the old keyboard, tried the new keyboard
with just ps2, just usb, and with both connections, but no luck--the keyboard
works fine until the windows login screen comes up, then the keyboard's
disabled. Tried all safe modes, etc etc. I've found some things to try with
the recovery console, but as I said, neither a dos diskette boot nor recovery
console recognize my hdd. Catch-22!
