HI,

I have eben through the forum here and tried everything
suggested to resolve the in-ability to change file
permissions. The permissions persistently remain at READ
ONLY. Even if I change it by removing the tick the system
asks me if it must apply to all the files/ folders etc and
when I say "yes" it appears to be changing the files..*the
screen refreshes etc* but when I re-open the folder
permissions the tick is back there in a shaded box...I
have change the permissions globaly under my C drive to
one of EVERYONE-FULL CONTROL and to all files /folders
below that level...nothing helps..

It used to work fine--about 4 days after installion it
started on it's own mission and I have not been able to
control it ever since...

Anyone with any other ideas..??

P.S. i AM ON A lan with onother PC (also with same version
XP)

Rgds
