Hotmail (name@hotmail.com) accounts:

MSN (name@msn.com) accounts:
http://help.msn.com/!data/en_us/data/msnev9.its51/$content$/CLIENT_PROC_EMAIL_ConfigureOutlookExpressToSendAndReceiveMSNMail.htm

Any mail that you want to save in OE from Hotmail, move them to folders
created by you. OE mirrors the Hotmail website, so if you delete in
Hotmail, it will disappear from OE.
