Each time I start up, my settings in display properties resets to
Screen resolution 640 X 480
Color Quality low 8 - bit
I reset them to
1024 X 768
32 bit
apply and restart and they reset to the above.

The correct monitor and Adapter are selected.

I ran a update search for each and it says I have the latest driver version.

I have used the 1024 X 768 res for abour a year. It is the recomended seting
for a program that I use to play poker (play/not real money) with. This
problem seem to have started after downloading the service pack 2,Microsoft
USB reciver wireless keyboad and mouse and installing the software that came
with the new keyboard and mouse.

Wall.

Then Installed, from NVIDA web site, Graphics Driver, Geforce and TNT2;

Windows XP/2000
Version: 61.77
Release Date: July 27, 2004
U.S. English
File Size: 12.0 MB

When I go to update the drive I get the following warning. The publisher
could not be verified, Are you sure you want to run this software Name
61.77_WIN2KXP_ English exe This file does not have a valid digital signature
that verifies it's publisher. you should only run software from a publisher
you trust. Installed update and still have same problem. My system supports
geforce 2 and Geforce 2 mx,
It had a warning that it had not been tested for Microsoft and was not
digitally signed.

Restarted and have the same problem

It would seem that xp is having to default and start in VGA mode or the
video adapter/driver is not working properly.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help
