Prefetch & SP2

Installed SP2 from the 272mb D/L with no major problems.
Notice that the "Prefetch" folder is no longer there.
A little Googling shows that this is happening frequently
athough the Folder and files are supposed to still exist.
Any one have an answer as to why Prefetch got turned off?
