small busines server

got a new server plugged it in and started to load sbs, all went well til i
booted into the start up and noticed windows 98 was already on the server!
So thought i would format and start again, here in lies the problem, how do
you get a command prompt without a boot disk for sbs. I have got the command
prompt using an xp boot disk but the format C: doesnt work. Anyone remember
how to format the sbs so i can start over help appreciated.
