I have computer with ME. I have software that will not run
with XP according to the technical support. I was thinking
about partitioning the HD? One person suggest I just use
upgrade and compatibility option? Don't know much about
the compatibility option but what if it doesn't work? Then
am I locked into having XP unless I backtrack and format
the HD and reinstall ME? Also, if I have other software in
box that I decide to install later and everything is XP,
would compatability option not apply anymore?
Is partitioning the HD a crazy idea? Should I forget the
XP upgrade if I want to continue to be able to use the old
software? What is this compatibility option?
Thanks for any insight and recommendations.
Susan
