We do too!

The date has been pushed back a few times, the next version is not even in
beta testing yet and we don't expect that until at least around the middle
of next year which would put any new release some time in 2006. Paul
Thurrott, Windows SuperSite, http://www.winsupersite.com/faq/longhorn.asp
reports it is due in late 2005. The further we go before the start of the
beta, the further down the road the release date will go.

Note, these newsgroups though maintained on a Microsoft server are peer to
peer groups. While some Microsoft representatives do check in from time to
time you are essentially interacting with Non-Microsoft representatives.
MVPs are volunteers and are not employed by Microsoft.
