Christine,
Your user may not be using a router that uses DHCP. I
assume your home internet connection and business location
does.
He may only have a modem at home which may have a static
IP assigned by his provider. In this case he will need to
set up a configuration to use that IP on his machine.
Alternatively he can go and get a router and let it assign
his machine a DHCP address. Inform him that he will need
to program the router with the assigned IP from his
provider.
