dll files missing

On start up I have an error message, " unable to load
module C:\WINDOWS\bxxs5.dll". Before I purchase any type
of Spy Ware I want to know if the new XP Update will
correct my problem with my dll file? If not how would I
reload that bxxs5.dll file?
