It's a Compaq, which is owned by HP, so it's got that HP stuff on it on a
partition. Which means if I every have serious problems I have to re-install
the OE crap or buy Ghost.
Ok, so the act of buying a computer doesn't include a liscensed copy of the
operating system that's installed on the computer, which happens to be
Windows XP ? Seems like that wouldn't be legal. Plus, by doing this, I
can't use many of the built in features in WinXP. Like the described at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/learnmore/bott_03july14.mspx
Thanks a bunch Compaq/HP. It does suck. But I'll take that up with the
manufacturer or buy an imaging software.
Thanks for the info.
Regards
