No reboot after SP2 download

After downloading sp2 from microsoft laptop will not
reboot. Have a Toshiba Satelite 1415-S173, using windows
xp 2000. Does someone have a fix for this? Tried all the
regular stuff. Safe mode, Last good configuration, ect...
Help!!!!
