0-7% is not unusual. Your PC is always performing things. From auditing, to
virus checking. Just by having antivirus etc running, the CPU usage will
increase. My CPU cycles between 0-2% when idle. I guess it depends upon the
speed of your processor as well. AFAIK, many processes can run without
showing up in Task Manager.
It sounds as though you have all of the usual sensible protection software
running, so unless you are having performance issues, I wouldn't worry.
